Like with aquaculture, the topic of sustainability is extremely important! The strict requirements of conservative fishing are implemented using the MSC seal of approval. Different methods are used to prevent overfishing of endangered species of fish and stocks. For instance, wild Alaskan salmon is one of the endangered species of fish, protected by the MSC requirements; thanks to certification, the fish can still find its way on to the plates of consumers. In this area, we cooperate exclusively with partners located in the country of processing, responsible for sourcing and quality controls. We enter into dialogue with lobby groups and are also members of the fish association in order to satisfy future developments with regard to the environment.
